We will start this bird walk looking for White-throated Swifts that, in the past, have nested in the cracks of the large rocks near the parking lot. We will also scan the reservoir area for Rock Wrens and waterfowl. Then, we’ll hike a loop trail through gray pines and oak woodlands and around a sag pond looking for spring migrating warblers, Western Tanagers, and Black-headed Grosbeaks. Optional Extension: On our way home we can take a quick stop at the Live Oak Picnic Area for Wood Ducks.
