This park is located in the eastern foothills of Santa Clara County. We will start the morning birding Grant Lake to check for raptors and waterfowl. Next, we will continue on to the historic ranch house gardens and surrounding oak woodlands to look for flycatchers, warblers, and orioles.

Meet: Grant Lake parking lot, do not go to the main entrance
Directions: From US-101 in San Jose, exit Capitol Expy E. Continue east for about 1.7 miles then turn right onto Quimby Rd. Continue for about 7 miles to the end of Quimby Rd then turn right onto CA-130 E. In less than 0.5 miles, the parking lot will be on the left just after the main park entrance.
