Jessica Burton is a Master's Candidate in Biology at California State University, Long Beach where she is studying artificial habitat supplementation for the light-footed Ridgway's Rail. She received a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University. She is currently a Wildlife Biologist at the Santa Ana Watershed Association where she monitors endangered species populations, including the least Bell’s vireo and California least tern.
