Friends of “R” House and Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society invite you to the historic Rengstorff House and its grounds for our latest "Birds of the Bay" collaboration. Join expert-guided birdwatching, and step back in time with historical tours, vintage games, and other family-friendly activities in the museum and grounds.

As of 4/2, the program has expanded to include:

• Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (SCVAS) leading bird walks and looking to observe birds building their nests and exhibiting courtship behavior. (Binoculars will be on loan)

• Classic games including croquet, "lasso the wooden horse," "pin the bottle," "hoop and stick," ring toss, bubbles, and more fun on the lawn

• bird taxidermy exhibit table with expert birders answering questions and sharing knowledge

• museum open house and docent-led tours

• NEW addition!-scavenger hunt and prizes

• NEW addition! - mini botanical workshop-Make yor own pressed flower bookmarks and stickers!

Rengstorff House is in Shoreline at Mountain View, a protected wildlife and recreation area along the Pacific Flyway. Shoreline also offers trails to explore, a sailing lake, a golf course, and two restaurants nearby, for those of you who would enjoy making a day out of your visit.
