White-breasted Nuthatch: Teresa Cheng

Overfelt Gardens, a San Jose city park, is the home of the Chinese Cultural Center. It is beloved by the local neighborhood who walk and often practice Tai Chi there. We may see White-breasted Nuthatches, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, sparrows, Hermit Thrush, Bufflehead, Mallards, Townsend's Warbler, American Robins, and Lesser Goldfinches.

Trip Difficulty: 2 miles; flat paths made of asphalt good for all types of travel, by foot or chair. Mix of sun and shade on the trails.

Meet: Park entrance on McKee Rd

Directions: From US-101, take the McKee Rd exit east and make a U-turn at Jose Figueres Dr. The park will be immediately on your right. From I-680, take the McKee Rd. exit west and the park will be on the right after Jose Figueres Dr. Longitude/Latitude: (37.362792, -121.853985)

Facilities: bathroom, cell phone service
