Join the Young Birders Club for a morning walk along the saltmarsh and pickleweed of the Palo Alto Baylands! Led by YBC co-lead Valerie Wong and young birder Kaiting, we’ll explore the Marsh Front Trail, Duck Pond, Harriet Mundy Marsh, and more. As we stroll by the sloughs, we’ll look for resident birds such as the American Avocet, Black-necked Stilt, and Black-crowned Night-Heron, and keep an eye out for wintering ducks and soaring raptors.
This trip is designed for young birders, but parents and siblings are welcome to attend. We welcome birders of all skill levels! Loaner binoculars are available for participants.
