Saturday, March 21: *Canceled* Kickoff Potluck & Get-Together, 6pm @ McClellan Ranch

Come to the Ranch to share a meal with your fellow team leaders and members, learn about participating in the Birdathon, exchange birding strategies and fundraising tips, and engage in some friendly competition. Please RSVP our Birdathon Coordinator Carolyn Knight if you’re planning on attending.

March 21—May 3: Participation Window

All birdathons need to happen between March 21 and May 3, 2020.

Saturday, May 9: eBird’s Global Big Day

Falling just outside our Participation Window, we still encourage you to sign up for and participate in the most amazing distributed Birdathon event on this planet. Look for Local Global Big Day Birders on the team page for more information.

Sunday, May 10: Pledges and results due from all teams

Pledges from your sponsors must arrive by May 10, 2020 to count toward your team or individual totals.

Results must also arrive by May 10, 2020 to be eligible for prizes. Photographs, list of species found and a brief trip report describing your adventure need to be turned in by this date. See the Rules & Guidelines for details.

Saturday, May 30: Birdathon Awards Online Event, 7:30pm Online Only (Note the new time)

Find out who won the competitions: most bird species, best bird, best bird photograph, and most money raised by teams and individuals. We have moved this to an online event, so stay tuned nearer the date for more information!
