A morning of relaxed birding! We'll begin with some parking lot birding at Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve, followed by some slow birding on the Coyote Creek trail by the Coyote Creek Visitors Center. Bring your binoculars and a camp chair, and join the fun!

Directions: From I-680 in Milpitas, exit E Calaveras Blvd and go east for 2 miles. Turn left onto Downing Rd and continue for 1.1 miles going past Sandy Wool Lake to the opposite side. The large parking lot will be on your right next to the dog park. Latitude/Longitude: 37.456984, -121.863857
