The North Coyote Valley Conservation Area is hidden away in the rolling hills and oak-dotted grassland of the Coyote Valley. While the grass has turned golden there's still a lot of life to be found in this riparian and oak savanna habitat. This evening field trip will include in-depth discussions about the local birds, plants, and habitat. We're excited to have Stephanie Saffouri of Grassroots Ecology joining us to offer her expertise on local habitat restoration work and native plants.
This event was made possible through funding from the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority's Urban Grant Program.
