Field Trip: Birds and Plants at Vasona Lake (Los Gatos)
Join us for a leisurely bird walk at Vasona Lake County Park to look for birds and plants. We'll search for local birds such as chickadees, bluebirds, and tanagers, and learn about the native plants such as the trees and shrubs on the way.
Trip Difficulty: 1.5 miles, paved trails, lawns (potentially wet), some shade

English will be the primary language of this field trip, but other languages spoken by our trip leaders include Cantonese and Mandarin

Meet: Pier Parking Lot
Directions: From CA-85 in Los Gatos, exit Winchester Blvd. Continue south for about 1.5 miles (Winchester Blvd becomes North Santa Cruz Ave) then turn left onto Blossom Hill Rd. Parking Type and Fees: parking fees (use Santa Clara County Park annual pass, otherwise it is $6.00 per car, credit card only)
